OSTI is conducting applied research to explore ways to speed up the diffusion of knowledge and accelerate scientific progress. OSTI's current initiatives include conducting diffusion research, planning for the DOE Science Accelerator and coordinating competitive awards in the Small Business Innovation Research arena. Topics include but are not limited to applied research into retrieving, parsing and disseminating science information.
