Two Noble Laureate features have been added to OSTI's DOE R&D Accomplishments Web site: William A. Fowler shared the 1983 Nobel Prize in physics for his research into the creation of chemical elements inside stars, and Martin L. Perl, a professor at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC), awarded the 1995 Nobel Prize in physics for his 1975 discovery of a new elementary particle known as the tau lepton.
