The Department of Energy’s Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) will be at the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s 2011 Annual Meeting. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Science without Borders.”
OSTI will have a booth (#201 floor plan) at the meeting. Our central theme is “Ensuring Global Science Access.”
Join us, and thousands of leading scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, families and members from national and international media at this important meeting. Be sure to stop by OSTI’s booth where you can ask questions and see how to get worldwide R&D results free and fast via single-point-of-access web portals, such as:
OSTI offers web-based searchable databases with relevancy-ranked and downloadable search results from a broad array of scientific information related to DOE missions, thus ensuring global access to DOE research results and bringing the world's research to DOE.
While at the OSTI booth you will also see the Magic Globe; videos from ScienceEducation.gov and our soon to be unveiled offering, ScienceCinema; and learn about how DOE works with universities through the .EDUconnections website. And don’t forget to register for our drawings to win a special OSTI prize!
We’re looking forward to seeing you there, as we work together to accelerate science around the world.
The AAAS 2011 annual meeting will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. For more information on the meeting, go to http://www.aaas.org/meetings/
