Tritium breeding materials areessential to theoperation
of D-Tfusion facilities. Both of thepresent options -
solid ceramic breeding materials and liquid metal mater-
ials arereviewed with emphasis notonly on their attrac-
tive features butalso on critical materials issues which
must be resolved.
