Catalog Description
Basic database concepts. Conceptual modeling. Relational data model. Relational theory and languages.
Database Design. Database security and integrity. Introduction to query processing and optimization.
Introduction to concurrency and recovery.
Prerequisite: ICS 202 Data Structures
