Overview: The UWT Office of Admissions Advising & Outreach, a division of Enrollment Services,
seek student employees interested in advancing the mission of the unit to provide current and future
students with administrative and academic support services and information needed to take full
advantage of the educational opportunities available to them at the UW Tacoma.
Admissions Advising and Outreach is a vital point of contact for prospective students seeking
educational advice and information about UWT.
Position: The AAO Student Assistants will support Enrollment Services and Admissions Advising &
Outreach in efforts to recruit, inform and retain students. Providing information, answering questions
via phone, email and in person and facilitating tours, the assistants serve as campus liaisons
between students and the University.
The student assistant position reports to the Director of Recruitment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate campus tours
Respond to student inquiries: provide information to prospective and current students related
to the admissions process, deadlines, registration, campus events, etc.
