The University of Georgia Fanning Institute is seeking overnight chaperones/mentors for its summer youth
programs. Current college students may apply to be mentors for 1 or more of the programs. See next page
for program descriptions and dates.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible students must:
· Be enrolled in a college in Georgia
(3rd and 4th year students preferred)
· Demonstrate enthusiasm for working with
young people
· Have ability to nurture positive self-esteem,
decision making skills, responsibility, and
leadership
· Demonstrate ability to work effectively with
culturally diverse groups
