Administrative Assistant School of Planning
College of Science and Management
(Regular Part time, 14 hrs/week)
Duties:
Reporting to the Program Chair School of Environmental Planning, your duties will encompass
a wide range of administrative, clerical, and secretarial support functions, some of which will
include:
Respond to oral, written and in person requests and inquiries
Schedule and co-ordinate meetings, conferences and/or special events; prepare
agendas and meeting packages; record, prepare and distribute minutes; communicate
committee decisions and follow up on action items
Maintain filing systems, mailing lists, and update program information
Assist with budget preparation, monitor, track and code expenses, reconcile credit card
payments and generate web requisitions
Process mail, web requisitions, travel authority forms, maintain and order supplies
Prepare correspondence, memorandums, and reports
Liaise with students, academic and administrative departments within the University, and
community members and external representatives
