1. FUNCTIONAL LOGIC PROGRAM SPECIALIZATION
The aim of (PE) is to specialize a given program w.r.t. part of its
input data (hence also called ). PE has been widely applied in
the field of functional programming [5; 10] and logic programming [7; 13]. Although
the objectives are similar, the general methods are often different due to the distinct
