Summary: In a continuous effort to develop a thriving international community of strategic management
scholars and promote the field of strategic management in Israel, we are proud to announce The 4th
Israel Strategy Conference (ISC2010) to be held at the Technion on December 27-29, 2010.
Sponsored by the Israel Science Foundation and the Technion, ISC2010 offers a unique opportunity
to explore emerging issues in strategic management, receive feedback on work-in-progress, and
network with colleagues. The program features keynote speakers Michael Lubatkin (University of
Connecticut), Brian Silverman (University of Toronto), and Howard Thomas (SMU). A panel on
innovation will engage Miriam Erez (Technion), Gabriel Szulanski (INSEAD), Manuel Trajtenberg
(National Economic Council) and Ilan Vertinsky (University of British Columbia). The program also
includes 33 paper presentations and 22 interactive papers on various topics of interest to strategic
management scholars. The ISC Best Paper Award carries a $1,000 prize from Rotem Strategy.
Additional sponsors include Haifa Municipality and The Neaman Institute. A doctoral consortium
coordinated by Robert Salomon (NYU) and Susan Perkins (Northwestern University) will be held on
