Aufgabenbeschreibung/Description of Work
Researches in the Division of Automation and Measurement
Technologies (AMT) at the University of Oldenburg have developed a
new concept of a tactile human-machine interface for surgical
interventions via multimodal computer navigated surgery. The object
of this thesis is to measure the skin impedance changes of the user
during the surgical interventions. This information can portray an idea
about the stress level and hence the concentration of the user, which
can hence be used for an adaptation of the surgical navigation to
eliminate inter-individual differences on the system.
