Graduate Student Undergraduate Researcher Mentoring Award
The Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) is pleased to announce the first annual
Graduate Student Undergraduate Researcher Mentoring Award, which will be a featured award at this
year's CURO Symposium.
The purpose of these awards is to recognize outstanding graduate students who consistently make a
concerted effort to mentor undergraduates in research and foster an enrichment of the undergraduate
learning experience at the University of Georgia.
Graduate Students selected for this award will be formally recognized and presented with an award
certificate during the Poster Session of the 2011 CURO Symposium on Monday, April 4, 2010.
Only graduate students working with and mentoring undergraduate students participating in this
year's Symposium are eligible for the Graduate Student Undergraduate Researcher Mentoring
Graduate students must be nominated by the supervising faculty mentor for the CURO
Nominees should have a minimum of one year of experience mentoring undergraduates in a
research setting and who consistently make an effort to involve undergraduates in research at the
