Samsung R&D, Computer Science Lab located in San Jose, CA, is currently recruiting summer
interns in the area of 3D and Free-Viewpoint Video/TV.
Position: Intern or Part-time Researcher for the Multicore Group
Summary:
The Multicore Research Group, within the Samsung R&D Computer Science Lab, is developing
multicore software development tools and run-time infrastructure to support a wide range of
consumer electronics platforms. As part of this effort the group is focusing on the application of
high-performance manycore computing to the 3D and free-viewpoint TV and video application
domains.
We are looking for an intern or part-time researcher to work directly with the existing research
team, and to bring expertise in the area of next-generation TV and video applications and their
realization on multi- and many-core platforms. The candidate should be willing to directly
participate in solution prototyping in a Linux-based manycore environment. This is an excellent
