ENROLMENT AND INDUCTION
ALL STUDENTS
Prior to arrival at the University it is anticipated that all students* will have taken
advantage of the opportunity to enrol on-line (details about enrolling can be found at -
www.southampton.ac.uk/enrol. *International entrants who are holding a Tier 4 Visa to study at
the University of Southampton will no longer be able to enrol online prior to their arrival in the
UK. Tier 4 students will not be able to enrol until they have completed a Visa, Passport and
Identity `Check-in' Event with Registry Services. Instructions about how to `Check-in' with
Registry Services can be found at www.southampton.ac.uk/tier4_check_in. If you experience
difficulties in enrolling the School staff in the Student Services Office (Building 22, Room 1001)
will be available to help when you arrive for the Induction Meetings.
Attendance at the following events is compulsory for both undergraduate and postgraduate
students and you are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time. To complete
our registration process and to receive your School Programme Folder
All postgraduate students (and undergraduates when requested) must produce original
academic qualifications (i.e. degree certificates, transcripts) and English language
qualifications where appropriate. Failure to do so will prevent completion of your
