Summary: environmentally focused research and as an
identifiable unit to which communities,
industry, and government can turn for help
with research questions and assessments of
research needs.
PLANS FOR 2007-2008
Several new activities are planned for 2007-
2008, including launch of the Occasional
Paper Series and expansion of the Research
Extension Notes Series. The NRES Institute
will continue to sponsor the weekly
Colloquium Series, an NRES Graduate
Student meeting-and-greet, featuring
graduate student research early in the Fall
2007 semester, and will continue the Annual
NRES Institute Research Forum and the
NRES Institute Annual Lecture Series.
While we continue to seek external support,
our main source of revenue will be the
redirection of overhead to NRES Institute
