studying for their first degree will be 3,375 in 2011/12.

Core bursaries
We offer a generous bursary package to students from lower-
income backgrounds. When assessing bursary entitlement the
University uses the residual household income (RHI) figure
calculated by the Student Loans Company (SLC). Bursaries do
not need to be paid back.
For students entering in 2011
Bursaries are paid every academic year in two equal instalments,
before Christmas and in February. You will find details of the
bursary on the University's student portal at the start of term,
once you have registered. You will be able to apply for your core
bursary online via the student portal.
