An approach to
Supported by:
The McDonnell Center for Higher Brain Function
The Mathers Foundation
Objective: To develop a unified framework for modeling
neuronal systems based on well-established
engineering principles.
Approach: Develop a formalism for how neuronal
systems implement the representation of
analog variables. Then use this knowledge to
construct circuits that perform specific
transformations on these variables.
Benefits: Allows the application of the basic principles
