Informing Inspiring Empowering.
Welcome, I would like to take this opportunity to con-
gratulate each one of you for your choice to continue
your education here at Dalhousie University. To those
students who are new, I say a special welcome.
You have already made the best choice in coming to
Dalhousie University because you will have the opportu-
nity to meet great friends when you come to the Black
Student Advising Centre (BSAC) which is a unique, one
-of-a-kind resource for students of African heritage in
Canada. The centre provides a resource room for peer
support, a space for meeting/studying and academic
encouragement. It also includes a computer lab that
provides internet access. All students can visit us for
information on employment, scholarships, bursaries and
events, both and off campus in the African Nova Scotian
community.
