Franklin College
Our next "Lunch and Learn Series on Diversity & STEM" is February 10th . The topic
is "Mentoring Across Our Differences." See www.franklin.uga.edu/diversity for the full
schedule. All workshops are held in 103 Connor Hall.
The office is currently accepting applications for Graduate Travel Awards. These funds
are used to recruit underrepresented students who have been accepted by Franklin Graduate

The Graduate School
Graduate Recruitment Opportunities Fellowship (GRO)--Feb. 19, 2010
"The GRO Assistantship is designed to include any entering graduate student who is considered
first generation, educationally or economically disadvantaged, or has some aspects of a
uniquely diverse background that adds to their discipline of study. Nomination for the GRO
Assistantship is determined by the departmental admission process and is forwarded to the
Graduate School for consideration."
