Summary: SUPER
User's Guide
1 Introduction
The program super 1 was developed at the Technion to allow the easy visu
alisation of superprocesses using real time three dimensional graphics.
Since true superprocesses run in continuous time on a continuous state
space, and computers are discrete, what super really simulates are branching
random walks of various kinds. Nevertheless, with enough particles and a fine
enough lattice you will see through super most of the phenomena exhibited
by real superprocesses.
We anticipate that the program will be in a constant state of development
throughout the academic year 1994/95, and we expect to release new versions
periodically. Comments and suggestions for further development and specific
models of interest should be sent, by email, to robert@ieadler.technion.ac.il.
Enjoy.
