Tenure Clock Extension
Extension of
probationary period
-5 yr period must be continuous, except that the
University may permit a maximum of two years
interruption because of a leave of absence such
as family medical leave (including the birth of a
child) or part-time service, provided that no
probationary credit for the period of an
interruption is allowed.
-There is a maximum of 2 years of probation
extension permitted
