Compensation, 3rd Cdn (2010) by Milkovich, Newman & Cole
You will become familiar with the various components of the
compensation package and the procedures involved in establishing a
pay system that is internally consistent, externally competitive, and
that supports the strategic goals of the company. You will also be able
to intelligently discuss issues associated with compensation such as
pay as a motivator, the pros and cons of performance-based pay, and
pay equity legislation.
Term Paper (25%): This will be on a compensation-related topic of your choice.
