UW Instructional Assessment System (IAS) Annual Report 2005-06
The report was passed around the table for review as a possible tool for ABET. It has been emailed to all ACI members.
Chemical Engineering Senior Survey
The survey was conducted in a recurring senior class. ChemE will present the survey to their advisory board for
suggestions. The survey has been emailed to all ACI members for use as a possible ABET tool.
Update on LIFE Center Ethics Module
Eve Riskin attended a presentation to another school by Susan Mosborg and Kofi Weusijana (UW Life Center). Jim
Borgford-Parnell reported that the presentation needs more development and instructions on how to assess ethics. The
presentation turned out to be more work for the instructor and was time consuming. LIFE doesn't have any internal
funding for this project; so, they are dropping it.
Jim emailed UT-Austin's Ethics Modules web url to ACI members.
Jim is still willing to go to departments to talk about life-long learning.
