Objective and Overview: This course is intended to provide a market-oriented framework for
analyzing the major types of financial decisions made by corporations. Lectures and readings
will provide an introduction to operation and efficiency of financial markets and the financial
decisions of firms.
Textbook: Corporate Finance, 2011, 6th Canadian edition, by Ross, Westerfield, Jaffe and
Roberts published by MaGraw-Hill Ryerson.
Course requirements: The course requirements are given in the table below.
