Introduction
INTRODUCTION
The Academic Personnel Affirmative Action (APAA) Program at the University of
California, San Diego campus (UCSD) is a proactive management tool used to ensure
equal employment opportunity. The APAA Program is a collection of policies, practices,
and procedures that UCSD has implemented to ensure that all employees and qualified
applicants for employment receive equal opportunity in the processes of recruitment,
selection, and advancement, and in every other privilege associated with employment
without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, and/or status as a
veteran.
This report constitutes the annual review and update of the APAA Program. The report
reviews employment actions that occurred during the period of November 1, 2006,
