"The Large Hadron Collider: Unraveling the Mysteries of
the Universe"
Location: Research and Innovation Centre, room 119
Speaker: Dr. Martin Beech
Conceived and constructed to test the best contemporary theories of
particle physics, the results from The Large Hadron Collider, now in its
second successful year of running, will provide novel insights into the
fundamental properties of matter and the mechanisms underlying the
behavior and the evolution of the cosmos.
In Beech's talk, he will elaborate this newly emerging picture of
