Minneola, NY, 2004.
For a handful of topics, I will distribute photocopied notes from other sources. A tentative schedule of topics
for the semester is as follows:
Field theory and Galois theory (Chapter III) 4 weeks
Categories and functors 1 week
More on modules and noetherian rings (parts of Chapters II & IV) 2 weeks
Structure of rings and algebras (Chapter V) 3 weeks
Group representations (Chapter VI.8) 2 weeks
Multilinear algebra 1 week
