BOUNDARY RIEMANN PROBLEM

Abstract. We consider the selfsimilar, time dependent approximation of an
initialboundary value problem with Riemann data. We furnish a complete
description of the boundary Riemann solver induced in the limit and we com
pare it with the boundary Riemann solver induced by the classical vanishing
viscosity approximation.
