Deputy Registrar
Regular, Full-time
The Deputy Registrar (DR) will assist the Registrar in assuring the maintenance, consistent
application, and integrity of procedures employed to securely and appropriately manage student
admissions, enrolment, scheduling, evaluation, and personal and academic records. The DR
will oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Registrar's office, manage projects, supervise
personnel as assigned and play an integral role as a senior member of the Registrar's Office.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant discipline
5-7 years experience in a University environment, ideally in student services
Knowledge and experience working with Student Information Systems
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of post-secondary processes
Experience in project management and business process analysis
Experience supervising, coaching, leading and mentoring staff
Knowledge and understanding of Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
(FIPPA)
Strong administrative, analytical and communication skills
