Franklin College Diversity Leadership Development Program
The Franklin faculty is encouraged to engage in activities that will further develop their multicultural
competence and skills and to contribute to the college's diversity programs and initiatives. Therefore,
the college is proud to offer the Franklin College Diversity Leadership Development Program. These
awards can be used to support a variety of activities designed to support the climate for diversity and
inclusion in the college. For example,
To travel and participate in a discipline-specific diversity leadership workshop, such the
American Psychological Association's Women Leadership Development pre-conference
program.
Develop a proposal for a grant that would help to train and recruit underrepresented students
to a Franklin Unit
Collaborate with a minority serving institution in order to promote discipline related
partnerships in order to enhance training and service to underrepresented students
The college expects to make 3 awards annually of up to $3000.00 each. In order to submit a proposal
