The University Council approved revisions to the University of Georgia Guidelines for
Appointment, Promotion and Tenure at their March 2010 meeting and the complete list

These revisions are effective Fall 2010 and highlights include:
· Third Year Review of Assistant Professors: Clarification that the faculty vote is
on candidate's progress towards p&t rather than on continuance of the
candidate, the PTU Head does vote on the review report but is not obligated
