Summary: TheStudents'Union
The Students' Union now has over 100 societies and every
day there are events and activities happening or being
planned that make the University and Swansea a more
interesting place to be.
Whether students are interested in anime or political activism
our students' union has a society for everything. Each and every
society can offer students different skills and knowledge.
There's no doubt that joining one of our performance societies
will boost your confidence and give you presentation skills.
Joining in with the activities of our faith and cultural societies
will give you a truly global perspective on graduation, a quality
that many employers value highly.
Subject and educational societies ensure students get the most
out of their academic work by building real relationships with
academics and fellow students which lead to more contact
hours and more personalised support.
Our Computer Society, Xtreme Radio, Photography Society and
Navy group, to name a few, can give you practical experiences
that often open doors to high quality jobs after graduation.
