Abstract
In this paper we present an approach for QoS manage-
ment that can be applied to a general class of real-time dis-
tributed computation systems. In the proposed approach
a switching hybrid system model is used to represent the
system. In this setting, the QoS specifications are trans-
formed into set-point specifications and a limited-horizon
online supervisory controller is used to move the system
to the optimal operation point.
