As you will read in these pages, the 2005-2006 academic year was extraordinary at the University of
Georgia. We are presenting the year's accomplishments as a series of Top 10 lists, recognizing that
Top 100 lists would more fully cover the range of good work that is done here.
As important as it is to take time to reflect on what has been accomplished, it is even more important
to stay focused on what will be done in the days, weeks, months and years to come. In future years, I
anticipate that the annual report will include
This is an ambitious list, but a review of UGA's accomplishments over the past several years makes
it clear that when we set our sights high, we can do great things. With your support, we will continue
to strive for, and achieve, excellence.
