REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Mathematical Analysis, Second Edition, by Tom M. Apostol.
COURSE CONTENT: Elements of topology, real and complex numbers, limits, continuity, and
differentiation, functions of bounded variation, Riemann-Stieltjes integrals. For more details see

PREREQUISITES: MATH 4335 or consent of Graduate Advisor.

GRADING POLICY: The homework will be graded by the Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA);
the Midterm and the Final will be graded by the instructor.
Homework 30 % A = 90-100
Midterm 30 % B = 80-89
Final Exam 40 % C = 70-79
Total Points 100 % D = 60-69
