Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to ALL training courses provided by the Economic and
Social Research Council (ESRC). For the purpose of these terms:
`we' means the ESRC provider who will provide the service
`you' means the learner (researcher or PhD student) receiving the Services
ESRC training courses are available for social science researchers with preference given to
ESRC funded PhD students and researchers. Non-ESRC funded students and
researchers can attend if spaces are available or will be placed on a reserve list - we may only
give two weeks notice of available spaces.
To sign up for a course, a booking form MUST be completed and returned to the ESRC.
Places will be given on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information please go to:
toolkit/tools/media/media-training.aspx. Please don't forget to tick the box that
says you have read these terms and conditions. Applicants who do not tick this box will
have their applications returned. Once your place on the course is confirmed, you will be
expected to attend the course all day. The course normally lasts from 10.00 to around
16.00/16.30, so please make sure your schedule allows you to attend the full course. A
