Dorset County Council worked on this Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of
Southampton's School of Education. Using established and targeted research methodologies, the
collaboration aimed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Pupil and School Improvement
service in Dorset, and to disseminate identified best practice to raise educational standards.
