Abstract
In wireless communication we have to share
the bandwidth among many physically dispersed
device. The Medium Access Control (MAC)
protocol plays a crucial role in the network
performance. In this paper, we present a new
MAC protocol for cellular based system that uses
a variable frame length that shrinks and expands
according to the system load. Our protocol also
uses a per-upper-level-data-packet reservation
request, where the reservation is made when a
