COURSE OUTLINE AND SCHEDULE
SUMMARY:
This course introduces the concepts and practices of small business management and entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is a career choice; yet, entrepreneurial skills are useful and practiced in many of
organizations. Students will learn, practice, and be evaluated on specific entrepreneurial and small
business management skills and learning. Through the learning, students will understand the process
used to identify and evaluate the business concept, start-up and grow a new business. A key course
element is assessing the feasibility of a real business opportunity.
Prerequisite: Only available to Business, Education, Engineering and Science students that have also
