Summary: Fall 2011 Menu of Workshops and Classes
Included below is a listing of workshops and classes offered to Health, Recreation & Well-being Leadership Award
Program participants for Fall 2011. While many of the workshops and classes are free to attend, several
recreation programs may include a minimal fee. All fees have been noted below where applicable. Please note
that several workshops and classes may require pre-registration. As a reminder, each workshop/class can count
towards one requirement field ONLY and all participants must complete an evaluation form following their
attendance at each workshop/class. Evaluation forms can be found on the Well-Being tab on TritonLink.
Goals In Action: Presented by Counseling and Psychological Services, Goals in Action is a three part workshop
series that promotes academic success and enhances emotional well-being. The workshops will take place weeks
4-6 on Thursdays from 3pm - 4pm and will focus on goal setting, time management, accessing resources on
campus, self-care and the promotion of healthy behaviors. To Register, contact Judy Goodman Fermin, PhD at

Students Beyond Borders: Weekly "drop in" meetings with international students and American students who are
interested in a cross-cultural dialogue. Join us to get support from fellow students, survival tips, connections and
resources, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a free lunch. Meets Weeks 2-9 each quarter. Questions? Contact
