Summary: News & Notes April 27, 2009
Jennifer Mishra recently published an article in
Research Perspectives in Music Education entitled
"Undergraduate band specialists' attitudes toward
teaching strings." Many current students and
alumni of MSM completed the survey on which
this research study was based.
Kevin Hwang and Natalie Lin (studio of Kyung
Sun Lee), Anna Nayanova (studio of Vagram
Saradjian) and Jessica Zhu (studio of Nancy
Weems) will perform at the Concert for a Cure:
Music to Benefit Breast Cancer Research on
Saturday, May 9, 5 pm at the Christ United
Methodist Church in Sugar Land, Texas.
