ABSTRACT
We have reached a technology inflection point where the com-
bined availability of miniature, network-enabled devices (i.e.
motes) and low-power CMOS cameras, provide the opportu-
nity of using camera sensor networks to carry out automatic
visual analysis of complex scenes. However, the develop-
ment of a distributed sensing framework for such networks
