Summary: UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
There are five libraries at the University of Regina. Together they place more
than two million volumes and 3,700 current periodical titles at your fingertips.
VOYAGER is the University of Regina's new state-of-the-art library
management system that will connect you to U of R's library databases as
well as to those of libraries throughout the province and around the world via
the internet. The system has many features to make finding information
easier than ever.
VOYAGER is available in three forms:
Windows (Used in campus libraries)
· Provides familiar point and click technology
· Offers the greatest number of features
Web (Used from outside campus libraries)
· Available via the World Wide Web at http://voyager.uregina.ca
· Resembles Windows' searching functions but displays somewhat
differently
Telnet (Used for machines without graphical capability)
· Text based format
· Lacks some features of Windows and Web versions
· Telnet://voyager.uregina.ca and type in "library" at the Login command
