Translational
Research
Awards are for licensed MDs/MD-PhDs who show promise for innovative translational
research. The "ideal candidate" will be an assistant professor with an R01 who has
published independently. Candidates may also be in the early years at the associate
professor rank. UCSD may submit a total or FOUR applicants if one is a female and
another is an under-represented minority. Candidates must have an appointment in a
subspecialty. Applicants in reproductive medicine are especially encouraged.
