Preface
Within the framework of our minor `Imaging' we chose to do this computerized tomography
project. Its attractiveness was in the balanced mix between practical work, computer
programming and mathematics. Our expectations proved to be correct and we enjoyed
working on this project very much. Moreover working within the BFT department proved to
be very stimulating; knowing that your work might contribute to the understanding of students
is very rewarding. None of this would have been possible without the help and guidance of
our tutor Srirang Manohar, the technical staff at TNW and the workshop assistants our
gratitude goes out to all of them
