Collections

nese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) language materials. English and other
language materials about East Asian studies are housed in Wilson Library's
general and reference collections.
Classification
The materials in the East Asian Library are organized by the Library of
Congress Classification system. This system is adopted by all academic li-
braries in the United States and Canada.
Size
Within Minnesota Library system, materials are further organized by their
sizes, namely Octavo, Quarto, and Folio.
Within each section of these sizes, materials are arranged from A to Z on the
shelves. For example, materials on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean arts can
be found in Octavo, Quarto, and Folio sections. Be sure to check all relevant
