Conservation Laws are a fundamental feature of the world, whether the world is
Newtonian, Relativistic, or Quantum Mechanical: Emmy Noether showed that
conservation of linear momentum results from the symmetry of the world under
translations through space, and conservation of energy results from the symmetry of the
world under translations through time.
