From the President of the Nursing Alumni Association
DeaR Fellow alumNi, PaReNts, aND FRieNDs,
Cindi Colyer Allen will end her term as
president in June.
This will be The Final leTTer I write to you as president of the Nursing Alumni Association and Alumni
Council. On June 30, 2008, I will have served in this capacity for six years, which marks my term as the longest
in the nearly 100-year history of the Alumni Association. The message I bring to you today is simple and
heartfelt: I love the University of Virginia School of Nursing, and I feel deeply honored to have been given the
