Of the many people I've met at IRIS (Imaging, Robotics, and Intelligent Systems
laboratory), there are too many to thank. First I would like to give thanks to Dr. Mongi A.
Abidi for his willingness to support my work and his guidance throughout my studies
which has allowed me to develop my skills as a face recognition researcher within a
supportive team environment. His support and patience has allowed me to complete one
