Calendar of Events
A new era of University of Houston leadership was ushered in on November 7, 2008 in
an inspiring Investiture Ceremony at Cullen Performance Hall. The formal Investiture
officially endowed UH President and UH System Chancellor, Dr. Renu Khator with the
powers and responsibilities of the two respective offices. The event was attended by ap-
proximately 1,500 members of the University community and a host of international, fed-
eral, state, and local dignitaries. The event
marked Dr. Khator's entrance on to the global
academic stage as the University of Houston's
